Hi everyone! I haven't been painting too much lately but I wanted to share a "fun" oil I did around Halloween. Not quite sure what my inspiration was. (Yes, I created this before the movie "Where the Wild Things Are" even though most who see this painting sense a "wild thing" element. Oh well!
I am in the mist of a new painting from my visit to Pemaquid Point Light. Only have a small section completed. I'll share more as a - work in progress.

JT's Paintings

My son JT has become quite the painter and I wanted to share with you a few of his images. He recently had three of his works juried into the senior exhibit at the USM gallery and they all got in! He also was awarded the president's award and won the juror's award. I see a bright future in the arts for him. John and I are very proud of his accomplishments.
His next exhibit will be at University of New England. It will run from the middle of December through January. Meet the artist reception on Sunday, Dec. 20.

Ribbons of Hope

Hi everyone - This is my first posting on my blog. I wanted to let you all know that "Ribbons of Hope" painting is to be shipped off to New York City to be part of a Gala called HeartWorks. The National Marfan Foundation sponsors this annual event to raise money and awareness towards Marfan's syndrome and related connective tissue diseases. I feel honored to be able to be a part of this event. Hope you enjoy my images. Judi
